The Bulgarian roster have been forfeited from the league due to their coach, Nikolay "pNshr" Paunin, using the coaching bug for multiple rounds in the previous season.
ESEA has announced that, in line with the sanctions imposed by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) and upon their recommendation, SKADE have been disqualified from ESEA MDL Season 35 Europe after it was found that their coach used the coaching bug against Movistar Riders for six rounds in an overtime match during Season 34.
Prior to their disqualification, SKADE resided in fourth place in the MDL standings, boasting a 6-2 record that included wins over Sprout, AVEZ, and Endpoint. Their results have since been overturned.
pNshr is the first coach to have been found abusing the bug in ESEA MDL, with the majority of sanctions being dealt to coaches in standalone events. However, one final report is still set to be released by ESIC at the end of October, although the commission has stated that the demos that have been analyzed so far "likely comprise the most substantial cases of abuse."
